wedding photographer
Nathanaël Charpentier is a documentary wedding photographer based in the Loire Valley, France. In Corsica he photographs weddings in Porto-Vecchio and around the bay of Santa Giulia, and at the Domaine de Murtoli in the Sartenais. One wedding per weekend, on the island as anywhere else.
Corsica sets its own pace. Midday light is hard here; seven in the evening is another matter entirely. It comes through the umbrella pines, it grazes the sand, and it gives skin a colour no retouching can reproduce. A day is built around that. You wait, and you are repaid.
There are two Corsicas in these images. Santa Giulia: the church in Porto-Vecchio in the morning, a Mini Moke down to the shore, the ceremony and the dinner barefoot in the sand, facing the bay. And Murtoli: the maquis, the rocks, a sky turning to storm, the sea below. Two weddings, two worlds.

Their words
“He had already photographed the weddings of three of our friends, which gave us confidence straight away. […] On the day, we particularly appreciated his discretion: he captured every important moment very naturally, without ever being intrusive.”
Common questions
Do you photograph weddings at the Domaine de Murtoli?
Yes. Nathanaël Charpentier has photographed a wedding at the Domaine de Murtoli, in the Sartenais, and knows the estate: the maquis, the rocks above the sea, and the beach at nightfall. He also photographs in Porto-Vecchio and around the bay of Santa Giulia.
How much does a wedding photographer in Corsica cost?
A wedding reportage in Corsica with Nathanaël Charpentier starts at €2,700, plus travel from the Loire Valley, quoted transparently with the collection. He photographs one wedding per weekend, so the day is never shared with another couple.
How far in advance should we book?
12 to 18 months for a Saturday between May and September. Estates in Porto-Vecchio, Santa Giulia and Murtoli are themselves booked far ahead; the photographer is usually confirmed just after the venue.
